The Tavira Tower was built in baroque style and was part of the palace of Marquis de Recaņo, whose first watchman, Antonio Tavira gave it its name. In 1778 the Tavira Tower was appointed the official watchtower for the town. In the tower is the fantastic Camera obscura, which gives you the possibility to see the town from a different viewpoint.
